A reminder of the close out sale of antique and vintage items at Weeds and Reeds in New Ulm this Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. We have moved lots of stuff from storage into the store so it is full again, with discounts on almost all items. Display cases for sale as well. Remaining new retail items are at least 75% off. We will be having a further Store Closing sale on May 10th and 11th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

We have been busy cleaning out our storage spaces and marking items for sale. The shop is full again of these items so come find your treasure.

There will be tables of 50 cent and dollar items! New retail items that are left are now at least 75% off.

We are back! Our next Store Closing sale runs next Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We have moved more items from storage into the building. New retail items are 70% off. Some vintage and antique items will be reduced from previous prices. Spread the word - hope to see you there!

Thanks for the super nice comments and great response to our closing sales the past two weeks. We are now going to take a pause to catch our breath and to move some more items in from storage. We will hold another sale with further discounts starting in mid-March. Exact dates and times have not yet been decided but we will post them here as soon as we can. In the meantime, look for our booth in Pond Road Antiques in North Mankato, just north of Perkins on Highway 169.

It is with bitter/sweet feelings that we have decided to sell this super fantastic building. We are semi-retiring after 17+ wonderful, successful, FUN years in this great building. Weeds and Reeds is exploring new venues that will allow us more freedom to spend more time with our kids and grandkids so far away and at the same time to still dabble in antiques and vintage. We are currently in “Pond Road Antiques” in Mankato (beautiful shop).

Thanks for your support and love on this fantastic journey and for sharing our passion of old things even shabby and worn, but loved, and the hunt for that treasure that brings a smile and warms the soul. We love this “stuff”!!
