If you love shopping as much as I do, then you understand the feeling like
you're running out of space and places to put your items. Here are a few tips
that I found helpful with getting organized:
1.) Declutter! - It can become really
easy to just throw an item into the closet that doesn't belong just because you
need some place to put it. It's also easy for your closet to fill up just from
keeping things for so long. Like Marie Kondo says, "keep what sparks
joy!" You're probably thinking "what does that mean?"
It means to only keep the items that make you happy and have a use. If the
item doesn't do this, then it's time to either throw it away or donate it. You

2.) Organize by Color - Organizing by color makes everything look uniform and clean cut. It's recommended to think of a rainbow as you do so as it's aesthetically pleasing. Here's more on that here.
3.) Sort By Season - I know you want to wear your cute summer dress all year long but at some point you have to pack it away. Some articles of clothing are functional for multiple seasons so keep a few staples. More on that here.
4. ) Get A Folding Board - For the longest time, I had no idea what this was but let me tell you, it's a GAME CHANGER. A folding board will neatly and uniformly fold all of your clothes. By using this nifty contraction, you create more space to add even more items...or just leave the space like a responsible person (yeah right!). They even have child sized ones! You can get one here.
5.) Do What You Think Is Best - Honestly you have your own style and your own judgement. Do what you want! Just kidding! Tip # 5 is to Install Shelving and Drawers. Give your items a home to go back to. By creating a place for each item, chances are higher that you wont descend into chaos. With that being said, I'll catch you next time with the next tidbit!
