Tuesday Tip — White Gel Pen

What do makeup and cardmaking have in common? Apparently, more than I thought! 😂

I have a reverse lip-lining pencil that I use to clean up little mistakes around the lip line… and it gave me an idea for my craft table.

We often use a white gel pen to add details, like the little white dots on the deer in this Woodland Wishes card. But it can also work as a tiny “corrector pen”!

See that area next to the bear’s back leg? The watercolor bled passed the line there, so I covered it with my white gel pen. Once dry, it practically disappeared. 🤫

One important catch: this little correction trick only works on a white background! 😉

Sometimes the best crafting tricks come from the most unexpected places!

¿Qué tienen en común el maquillaje y las manualidades? ¡Parece que más de lo que pensaba! 😂

Tengo un lápiz perfilador de labios inverso que uso para corregir pequeños errores alrededor de los labios… y me dio una idea para mi mesa de manualidades.

Normalmente usamos el bolígrafo de gel blanco para añadir detalles, como los puntitos blancos del ciervo en esta tarjeta de Woodland Wishes. Pero también puede servir como un pequeño “corrector”.

¿Ves la zona junto a la pata trasera del oso? La acuarela se había escapado más allá de la línea, así que curbrí el exceso con el rotulador de gel blanco. Una vez seco, prácticamente desapareció. 🤫

Eso sí: ¡este truco solo funciona sobre un fondo blanco! 😉

☕🫖 Creativity comes in so many beautiful forms.

A few weekends ago, I enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea with creative friends, where every detail reflected our host's talent and thoughtfulness.

The terrace was full of flowers, the table had beautiful teacups and serving trays, delicious finger sandwiches and sweet treats... and one of my favorite touches: the charming floral teapot cozies she had crocheted herself!

Creativity isn't limited to paper crafting. It can be found in crochet, baking, gardening, decorating, or simply creating a warm and welcoming space to share with friends.

Here's to celebrating creativity in all its forms—and the wonderful people who share their talents so generously. 💜

Hace un par de fines de semana disfruté de un precioso té de la tarde con amigas creativas, donde cada detalle reflejaba el talento y el cariño de nuestra anfitriona.
