THE UPSIDE DOWN PIZZA 🍕🔥 WITH JERK ALFREDO SAUCE

This upside-down pizza puts a seriously flavorful twist on pizza night! Instead of layering everything on top, the chicken, peppers, onions, creamy jerk Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella bake underneath the dough. The result is a beautifully golden crust with a rich, cheesy, spicy filling underneath. Every bite is packed with smoky jerk chicken, sweet caramelized vegetables, and creamy Alfredo flavor.

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tbsp jerk seasoning, divided
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup grated Parmesan
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper, adjust to taste
1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced
½ cup yellow onion, sliced
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 lb pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
1 tbsp melted butter, for brushing crust
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp garlic powder
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 475°F. Lightly grease a round pizza pan or cast-iron skillet and set aside.

2. Place the cubed chicken in a bowl and toss with 1 tablespoon of jerk seasoning and the olive oil until evenly coated.

3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning as needed, until browned around the edges and completely cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

4. Using the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and remaining 1 tablespoon of jerk seasoning. Let the sauce simmer for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until creamy and slightly thickened.

6. Arrange the sliced bell pepper, yellow onion, and cooked jerk chicken across the bottom of the prepared pizza pan.

7. Pour the jerk Alfredo sauce evenly over the chicken and vegetables, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella generously over the top.

8. Roll or stretch the pizza dough until it is roughly the same size as your pan. Carefully place the dough over the toppings and tuck the edges slightly around the rim.

9. Brush the surface of the dough with the melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with dried oregano and garlic powder.

10. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the crust is deeply golden, crisp, and fully baked.

11. Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to rest for about 5 minutes. Carefully place a serving tray over the pan and invert the pizza so the saucy toppings are facing upward.

12. Finish with freshly chopped parsley, slice into wedges, and serve hot while the cheese and jerk Alfredo sauce are still deliciously melty.

Blueberry Butter Swim Biscuits with Lemon Glaze 🫐🍋

These buttery blueberry biscuits are baked in melted butter until golden around the edges and wonderfully soft in the center. Finished with a fresh lemon glaze, they make an irresistible breakfast treat, brunch favorite, or simple dessert.

Ingredients

For the Biscuits:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Lemon Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1–2 tablespoons milk, as needed

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Pour the melted butter into a 9×9-inch baking dish and spread it evenly across the bottom.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar until evenly combined.

3. Gently fold the fresh blueberries into the dry ingredients, being careful not to crush the berries.

4. Pour in the buttermilk and vanilla extract. Stir gently just until a soft, sticky dough forms. Do not overmix.

5. Carefully spoon the biscuit dough over the melted butter in the baking dish, spreading it gently into an even layer. The butter will rise around the edges and slightly over the top.

6. Using a knife or spatula, lightly score the dough into 9 equal squares. This will make the biscuits easier to separate after baking.

7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown and the center is cooked through.

8. While the biscuits bake, prepare the lemon glaze. Whisk together the powdered sugar, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add milk a little at a time until you reach a smooth, pourable consistency.

9. Let the baked biscuits cool for about 10 minutes, then drizzle the lemon glaze generously over the warm biscuits.

10. Serve warm and enjoy these soft, buttery blueberry biscuits with plenty of lemon glaze.

Monte Cristo Sliders

Sweet, savory, cheesy, and incredibly easy to make, these Monte Cristo Sliders are a fun twist on the classic sandwich. Soft Hawaiian rolls are layered with turkey, turkey ham, Swiss cheese, and sweet cranberry preserves, then baked under a flavorful buttery topping. A light dusting of powdered sugar gives them that signature Monte Cristo finish.

Ingredients
For the Sliders
12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
8 ounces sliced turkey
8 ounces sliced turkey ham
8–10 slices Swiss cheese
½ cup cranberry sauce or cranberry preserves
Powdered sugar, for topping
For the Butter Glaze
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon poppy seeds
¼ teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
1. Get the Rolls Ready

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Keep the Hawaiian rolls connected and carefully cut through the entire loaf horizontally, creating a bottom and top layer.

2. Start with Cranberry

Place the bottom portion of the rolls into the baking dish. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly across the surface, making sure it reaches close to the edges.

3. Add the Turkey

Arrange the sliced turkey over the cranberry layer. Follow with an even layer of turkey ham.

4. Layer on the Swiss

Cover the meat with the Swiss cheese, slightly overlapping the slices if needed so the entire surface is covered.

5. Close the Sliders

Place the top half of the rolls over the filling. Press down gently to bring the layers together.

6. Mix the Glaze

Add the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, poppy seeds, and dried parsley to a small bowl. Whisk until well combined.

7. Coat the Rolls

Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls. Let a little of the glaze seep down between the individual rolls for extra flavor.

8. Bake Until Golden

Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 8–10 minutes, until the rolls are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

9. Add the Finishing Touch

Allow the sliders to cool for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the tops just before serving.

10. Serve

Pull the sliders apart and serve them warm. For an extra sweet-and-savory bite, serve with additional cranberry sauce for dipping.

Recipe Tips
Don't separate the rolls before baking: Keeping them connected helps the filling stay together.
Watch the tops: Once the foil comes off, the rolls can brown quickly, so keep an eye on them.
For extra cheesy sliders: Add another layer of Swiss cheese if desired.
Make them ahead: Assemble the sliders earlier in the day, refrigerate them covered, then add the butter glaze just before baking.
Best served warm: The combination of gooey cheese, tender turkey, sweet cranberry, and buttery rolls is at its best straight from the oven.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Orzo

Ingredients

* 8 oz rotisserie chicken, cut into bite-size pieces
* 8 oz ham, diced
* 1 box orzo pasta
* 1 medium onion, finely chopped
* 5 garlic cloves, minced
* 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
* 2 cups heavy cream
* 1½ cups chicken broth
* 5 oz Gruyère cheese, shredded
* ½ stick butter
* 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper, as needed

Directions

1. Place a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the olive oil and butter, allowing the butter to melt completely.

2. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes, stirring from time to time, until the onion becomes tender and aromatic.

3. Add the garlic and cook for approximately 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until its fragrance comes through.

4. Sprinkle the flour evenly over the onion mixture. Stir for about 1 minute to lightly cook the flour and eliminate its raw flavor.

5. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth while whisking continuously. Keep whisking until you have a smooth, creamy sauce without lumps.

6. Mix in the Dijon mustard and season the sauce with salt and black pepper according to your taste.

7. Pour the dry orzo into the skillet and stir thoroughly, making sure every piece is coated with the creamy mixture.

8. Bring everything to a gentle simmer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring often, until the orzo is tender and the sauce has become rich and thick. If the mixture thickens too quickly, loosen it with a little additional chicken broth.

9. Add the diced chicken and ham, folding them into the orzo until they are evenly incorporated and warmed throughout.

10. Add the shredded Gruyère and stir until the cheese melts completely, creating a smooth and wonderfully creamy sauce.

11. Take the skillet off the heat and allow the dish to sit for 2–3 minutes. This brief resting time lets the sauce thicken to the perfect consistency.

12. Spoon the creamy Chicken Cordon Bleu Orzo into bowls and serve immediately while hot, cheesy, and comforting.

1½ pounds frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1 large egg
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil, for cooking

For the Country Beef Filling:
1½ pounds beef chuck roast or thinly sliced cooked beef
1 tablespoon butter
1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried thyme

For the Creamy Onion Gravy:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
½ cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Salt, to taste

For Garnish:
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Extra black pepper, optional

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

2. Place the thawed hash browns in a large bowl and squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible. Add the egg, cheddar cheese, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined.

3. Divide the hash brown mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a compact, round patty, keeping them thick enough to create substantial layers.

4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter or olive oil. Cook the hash brown patties in batches for 4–5 minutes per side, until crisp and deeply golden. Transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

5. Place the cooked hash brown layers in the oven for 10–15 minutes to finish crisping while you prepare the beef filling.

6. For the beef filling, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter, followed by the beef. Season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and dried thyme. Cook until the beef is browned and tender.

7. Add the sliced onion and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft, the mushrooms are browned, and the mixture is deeply savory.

8. Stir in the minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 30 seconds, then remove the beef mixture from the heat and keep warm.

9. To make the gravy, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Sprinkle in the flour and whisk constantly for about 1 minute to create a smooth roux.

10. Slowly pour in the beef broth while whisking continuously. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and dried thyme.

11. Simmer the gravy for 4–6 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick, smooth, and creamy. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with additional salt if needed.

12. Place one crispy hash brown layer on a serving plate. Spoon a generous amount of the beef, onion, and mushroom mixture over the top.

13. Add another hash brown layer and repeat with the beef mixture. Continue stacking until you have a tall, hearty hash brown pie.

14. Pour the warm creamy onion gravy generously over the entire stack, allowing it to run down the sides and pool around the bottom of the plate.

15. Sprinkle generously with fresh chopped parsley and a little extra black pepper.

16. Serve immediately while the hash brown layers are still crisp and the country beef gravy is hot and creamy.
