Last weekend was amazing! I had the privilege of returning to my MSW internship with as a panelist and to offer a scent meditation.

Then I headed up north to my Alma Mater for their alum makers retreat. I was able to spend the weekend with some great artist and makers, and to offer a scent meditation and candle making session. I’m always grateful for the events I get to participate in!

Let me tell y’all a quick story, last year I remember seeing photos of Juneteenth Block party with Black lgbtq vendors and I told myself that I wanted to be there next year. I almost forgot about it and up pops the flyer five days after being posted, and I took a chance and applied.

I am overjoyed to be one of the vendors for this year’s celebration. It’s going to be a magical day full of Black q***r joy, enlightenment, and beautiful people! Best of all it’s free!!!!

I’m so excited to be apart of this market Sat!

Feb 10th 12-5pm at 2371 31st st for the first “Our House” Valentine’s market! They will have a free Valentine making station as well as lots of local goodies for sale. Awesome chai and baked goods, coffee, jewelry, candles, bouquets, handmade hats, tie dye apparel, honey, jams, the list goes on! Shop over a dozen local makers and buy your Valentine (and yes, you can be your own Valentine) all sorts of treats.
