Roasted Parmesan Garlic Zucchini Spears Recipe
Delicious Roasted Parmesan Garlic Zucchini Spears: A Flavorful Twist on a Classic Side Dish
Ingredients:
4 medium zucchinis, sliced into spears
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Place the zucchini spears on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Brush the Parmesan garlic mixture over the zucchini spears, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender and the Parmesan cheese is golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
