6 things this journey keeps teaching me:
1. Honor the pace of your own path.
Comparison will make you forget the magic of what you are actually building. Some things are meant to grow slowly, with roots deep enough to last.
2. Consistency is the only currency that truly matters.
Trends change. Algorithms change. Seasons change. But showing up with integrity, again and again, is what builds trust.
3. Authentic relationships take time.
The best partnerships, stockists, ambassadors, clients, and friendships are not rushed. They are built through care, respect, shared values, and real connection.
4. Protect your energy like it is part of the business plan.
Because it is. Not every room, collaboration, conversation, or opportunity is aligned. Learning what to say yes to, and what to walk away from, is part of leadership.
5. Build for the future, not just the moment.
We are not here for one-off things. We are here for meaningful collaborations, sustainable growth, and community first business practices.
6. No one is coming to save your dream.
*At some point, you have to stop waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect collaboration, the perfect algorithm, or someone else to make it happen for you. You have to get self-motivated, build the discipline, and keep showing up even when no one is clapping yet. And if you do not have the will to do that consistently, it may be time to ask yourself if this is truly the dream you want to build.
At the end of the day, it always comes back to the mission:
Sustainability. Ritual. Community.
From the forest to your home.
BIG LOVE,
Mimi
