We are pleased to share that our online shop is now live, featuring delicate ceramics by [Eriko Fujimaru].

Originally from Shiga, Japan, and now based in Kanazawa, Fujimaru creates each piece with care and intention. After studying Visual Communication Design and transitioning from advertising to ceramics, she completed her training at the Ishikawa Prefectural Institute for Kutani Ware in 2019.

Each vessel captures a quiet moment, reflecting an inner landscape that evolves with its user. The simple forms and soft lines carry the essence of fire, earth, and hand, deepening in character over time.

We prepared to introduce the works of Kazumi Noguchi, which are created using the pâte de verre technique. These pieces carefully capture the gentle memories and unseen sensations found between the inside and outside, reflecting a deep appreciation for those subtle spaces. glass

Naoi Manami who created the goblet, designs her pieces with the hope that they will be practical tools, growing with their users over time and seamlessly blending into their daily lives. Her works, reminiscent of antiques, bring warmth to any space. They are easy to use for both the holiday season and everyday life.

Our very first event hosted at home was a wonderful success! The program featured a live demonstration of how to make fruit yokan, a signature Japanese confection crafted by Chef Toshi of Vert in Kagurazaka. Participants were also able to take home the recipe.

Thanks to the overwhelming number of requests, we quickly expanded the event into three sessions, running from morning through evening.

It was such a joy not only to connect with so many new attendees, but also to finally have the chance to talk in person with people I had previously only met briefly at exhibitions.

Through this gathering, I felt the excitement and small moments of discovery that come from connecting with others—and the joy of sharing those moments with people I might never have met otherwise.

This gathering came to life thanks to Rie san from NAKAI, who works exclusively with the highest-quality Japanese tea leaves and kindly invited Toshi-san. Everyone truly enjoyed the experience.

We are deeply grateful to Toshi-san for generously sharing his recipe and leading the cooking class, and to Rie san for bringing everything together. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us! ✨

At it the event held at Sorate .co on November 16th, It will be available Naoi's works for purchase in-store starting from 2pm. Please feel free to stop by!
Naoi’s works, created with the thought that they should be practical tools that grow with their users over time and naturally blend into everyday life, fit into daily settings like antiques and bring warmth to the space. These pieces are easy to use both in the holiday season and everyday life.

CAFE IROHAの初の試みは、神楽坂でデザート懐石を提供するVERTと、スペシャルティーグレード抹茶ブランドNAKAIによるコラボレーション企画です。

当日は、VERTのヘッドパティシエ田中俊大さんをお迎えし、お店のシグネチャーメニューであるフルーツ羊羹と、秋にぴったりのチャイラテの作り方を、この日のために特別に考案された抹茶版レシピとともにレクチャーいただきます。
ガラス作家のノグチカズミさんによる作品をご用意しております。〝Pastry Talent of the Year”に選出されたデザートシェフと、日本最高峰のオーガニック抹茶が出会うことで生まれる、ここでしか味わえない一皿とひとときを、ぜひ共にご体験ください。

田中さんは「日本茶のおいしさを多くの人に伝えたい」という想いから、日本茶を織り交ぜたデザートコース専門店**VERT(ヴェール)**を立ち上げられました。お店で提供されるコースのひとつ『茶湊流水(ちゃそうりゅうすい)』には、四字熟語“行雲流水”をもじり、「人や文化が行きつく場所(=湊)で、水のように気ままにお茶を楽しむ」
という願いが込められています。

またNAKAIも、茶道の芸術性と共に、一杯のお抹茶を通じて、より多くの方々の日々を彩るお手伝いをしたいという願いから立ち上げられたブランドです。

Hiroki Oura

Oura is consistently drawn to certain textures and colors by using dry lacquer powder, Oura has developed new forms of expression such as black line engraving, ink-like marks, weathered white, deep jade green, and reddish ochre.

The shapes of Oura's works vary, ranging from everyday items to pieces intended for displaying flowers. Through these forms, Oura expresses a unique sense of texture, and at times, Oura works seem to embody his own emotions.
