Anyways…here I am!

Hi. I’m Pam, a Long Island based interior designer turned 3D render artist. I turn actual plans, material selections and design ideas into photorealistic 3D renderings so you can see what the whole thing is going to look like before the contractor starts doing the contractory things.

Was I summoned? Maybe.

Am I happy to be here? Absolutely. 🙂

Listen, there’s no right answer. You should create the home that works for you, feels like you and makes you happy.

But we’ve been talking about renovating one of our bathrooms after a leaky roof, and somehow a bathtub turned into a whole conversation about how we make decisions about our homes.

Do we keep the tub because someday a hypothetical buyer might want one?

Or do we put in the walk in shower that would work better for the people who actually live here right now?

And it got me thinking about what I’d care about if we ever bought another house.

Give me the HEPA filtration. Whole home water filtration. A generator. Rain catchment. Raised veggie beds. A chicken coop. Give me things that make my home healthier, more functional and make us a little more self reliant.

I just think we spend too much time worrying about “resale value” and what some imaginary future buyer might want that sometimes we forget: We’re the ones living here now.

Make the house work for your life. You can worry about the next person when they’re actually writing you a check. 😌

I just wanted to remind you that I create photorealistic renderings that help interior designers show clients exactly what they’re envisioning before panic sets in.

Kitty Cat has reached the stage of life where she basically gets whatever she wants. ❤️

She has blood cancer, and right now our job is to keep our little princess face happy, comfortable and well fed.

Which got interesting when she recently decided she no longer liked her food. 😂

Thankfully, after some trial and error, she started eating again.

Did she choose the expensive stuff?

Of course she did. She’s a lady of taste and I’d sell a kidney to keep her fed so whatever she wants, really.

She’ll come upstairs hollering at us but honestly, you never know if she wants to be fed or if she’s just trying to get into the catnip. She must take after her momma 😂

Anyways…I stopped guessing and started putting both in front of her to let the lady choose.

This time she chose the drugs. 😂🌿

Honestly, princess rules. We’re just here to facilitate.

Community > competition, round two. 🥰

Here’s the deal: We pick a small space, agree on dimensions (in this case, we had plans for this shed) and then we get after it!!

The first time we did this, there were only two of us; Ashleigh over at Oar Haus Interiors by Ashleigh | Interior Rendering and me. We each designed a 3x5 powder room & shared each other’s work. We had so much fun with it that we decided to do it again.

Except this time…there are FOUR of us! And we’re working on the she-sheds of our dreams! Whoot!!

No rules. No competition. Just four designers doing their own thing, creating 3D renderings of a 10x10 shed and using our platforms to help more people see each other’s work.

And I LOVE that.

I went for tropical hideaway vibes with the Paradiso Mural wallpaper by Flavor Paper (if you don’t know about Flavor Paper, you’re welcome!), but, honestly? I won’t know what the other spaces look like until you do!

There are all different kinds of artists out there.
