Creamy Cajun Salmon & Shrimp
This creamy Cajun salmon and shrimp is rich, buttery, and packed with bold flavor. Perfectly seared salmon and juicy shrimp are coated in a silky garlic cream sauce that tastes like a restaurant-quality dinner made in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Serves 4
For the seafood
4 salmon fillets
ยฝ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
ยฝ tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the cream sauce
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp paprika
ยฝ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp lemon juice
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Pat salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon for 4โ5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 1โ2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Melt butter in the skillet and sautรฉ garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3โ4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add lemon juice and return salmon and shrimp to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the top.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
