At this residential property, BTH installed a permeable pathway system using pre-stabilized aggregate over a base of clean 3/4-inch gravel. The binder is pre-mixed into the aggregate and creates a consistent, durable walking surface, while the gravel base allows rainwater to drain naturally into the ground, helping reduce runoff and standing water.

Stormwater management is built into our landscape designs through permeable paving, grading, healthy soils, and carefully designed planting areas. A well-designed landscape can slow rainwater, allow it to soak into the ground, reduce puddling, support plant health, and lessen the burden on city infrastructure.
