CROCK POT HAWAIIAN BBQ CHICKEN
Ingredients
Boneless skinless chicken breasts
BBQ sauce
Canned pineapple chunks with juice
Mild cheddar cheese, shredded
Brown sugar
Minced garlic
Salt
Black pepper
Instructions
Place the raw chicken breasts into the crock pot in a single, even layer. Season lightly with salt and black pepper. Add the pineapple chunks and pour in the pineapple juice from the can. Sprinkle the brown sugar and minced garlic evenly over the chicken and pineapple. Pour the BBQ sauce on top, coating everything well. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or on HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked. About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded mild cheddar cheese over the top, cover again, and allow the cheese to melt before gently mixing and serving.
