Didn't win, but HAT's Folly entry "Tear-catcher" was commended by Architectural League.
In both Victorian commemorative rituals, the lachrymatory, or tear-catcher, was a delicate vial designed to catch tears shed for a lost loved one. We adapted this to create a pavilion mourning the imminent loss of the environment under our current climate change denying and exploitation-driven political regime. Many thanks to our great team!
