Erth Restaurant can be found along the glittering coastline of Abu Dhabi, a restaurant entirely dedicated to contemporary Emirati cuisine. Occupying a 275 sqm. (2,960 sq.ft.) spread across one floor, the dining establishment features an interior design by Dubai-based architecture and interior design practice Bone. Interestingly, the local cooking processes played a significant role in influencing the design direction of the space.
By tweaking the conventional restaurant typology, the concept is now more befitting of the dynamics of Emirati cooking. Additionally, the design celebrates cooking as a joyful performance, and as such, Erth‘s kitchen manifests as a very visible entity. Despite being housed in a separate space, four large windows allow guests ample peeks of all the action that goes on there. The volume, captured by acid-washed steel and robust chunks of travertine, also features an exhibit of essential spices and ingredients that make up Erth‘s menu. The dining area takes cues from the traditional majlis or living room, featuring raised floors finished with clay from which several spaces were carved out.

A California firm through and through, Disc’s collection is an abstraction of the Golden State’s farming landscapes and the natural textures and colors of California hillsides. The color palettes mimic the “the golden hour” and earthy, muted blues, greens, and browns. Disc also drew inspiration from “Dansaekhwa” a movement of Korean minimalist paintings from the 1970s, inspired by neutral hues and organic shapes and textures.

OCMA A new cultural landmark for modern and contemporary art, the Orange County Museum of Art, the new building, designed by Morphosis under the direction of Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne and Partner-in-Charge Brandon Welling, offers the museum increased exhibition galleries, dedicated education space, and open public areas with which to enrich the lives of a diverse and changing community through modern and contemporary art. Further advancing its public mission, OCMA will offer free general admission for the next ten years.

artist who play with light reflection and refraction and the idea of energy created by light and color. She creatively infused these
abstract elements into the collection, drawing inspiration from the 70s, the movement of that era and the entire vibe from that period to create a modern story

On the outskirts of Medellin, Colombia, this 900-square-metre,
mountain-top house is a feast for the eyes. Outside, the breathtaking
views overlooking the entire city are the star of the show. But
inside, too, there are plenty of visual surprises, thanks to the work
of design studio Cinco Sólidos. The starting point for this project
was the relationship between the structure and its surroundings.
Divided into two V-shaped structures overlapping the uneven site and
comprising the top and lower levels, the house mirrors its environment
in an ode to the architecture’s context.

The project for the new Clinica Alejandria located in the heart of Valencia (Spain), transforms an old obsolete and abandoned space into a new place dedicated to health and care of people.

The use of clay mortar in combination with walnut wood generate a sincere, close and “tactile” materiality. This "skin" of the interior spaces accompanied by a clear and simple geometry aims to create an environment where silence can be breathed, and beauty can be felt. An oasis of calmness in the centre of Valencia. Architecture and design based in the user experience. From the beginning we knew how important it is in a project of these characteristics to create a healthy environment designed from the user experience point of view.
