The Peppermil's retail shop is based in Brooklyn, New York. My sister-in-law, Debbie, and I opened The Peppermill in 1997. Our culinary curiousity set us on the road to finding better kitchenware than was available at the local hardware store. We both love to cook and bake and although neither of us is professionally trained, we appreciate anything that will improve efficiency in the kitchen. In o

Hands-on cooking classes and free cooking demonstrations held in our store feature local chefs as well as celebrity cookbook authors. Attendees come from all parts of the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area to partake and learn. You'll learn everything from cake decorating to gourmet cooking to fruit and vegetable garnishing; taught by professional culinary instructors. We even have classes for the kids!
