The funky geometric pattern on these curtains was the jumping off point for this living room. It shaped all the choices that came afterwards, like the couch fabric and the art on the wall. It’s always interesting to look back at a finished room and remember how it started. ⁠

When we first started, we tended towards white trim and ceilings with wallpaper or paint on the walls. Now, our paint schedules are more intricate, layered, and unique to each space. Here, we painted the trim and the walls all one color to create a cozier sitting room. I think it’s what makes the job fun - looking for ways to get better and evolving our methods. ⁠

This bachelor pad sits above a beautiful old bank on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The bank’s interiors inspired our choices in this kitchen. Masculine, dark stained cabinetry were paired with neutral stone counters and backsplash. It’s a handsome space that allows the oversized window to be the focal point. ⁠
