Alex Scott Porter Architecture + Design Alex Scott Porter Architecture + Design PLLC is a design intensive studio founded in 2001 in order to create spaces that inspire us to be our best selves.

Domestic spaces are our life-blood. We have a sustained interest in how people really live, and we create houses and apartments that can adapt and change as we grow. With both an Architectural and an Interior Design division, our studio provides a one-stop-shop for our clients – allowing for the seamless integration of your building, your interior and your furnishings. Our work is grounded in a se

nse of place, in sympathy and support of the lifestyle of our clients. We have developed a modern approach to design that is enhanced by a sophisticated palette of material finishes. We value the skillful detailing and finishing of materials, and are fluent in juxtaposing the reclaimed, newly fabricated, rough and refined in support of this aesthetic. This flows naturally with our interest in sustainable building -- as we find beauty in the eccentricities of new technology and we appreciate materials that look better with age.
