“Departing Impressions,” a bespoke lenticular digital mural at the new Delta Air Lines Departure Hall at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, uses software-driven animations to remind passengers of the wonders of travel as they make their way through security and to their destinations. Designed by ESI Design and informed by daily flight schedule data, the digital art installation showcases unique tableaus created from imagery of Delta’s many destinations across North America. As flights depart from the terminal, a subtle “Disruption” blows across the canvas, transforming the imagery into abstract art and symbolizing the lasting imprint travel leaves on memory.

The design creates a “nexus office,” one that draws people to it from other places on-campus and from their homes, with diverse work spaces, unique amenities and experiences that can only be found at the office.

It's always Cherry Blossom season at Terrell Place! After seeing the real thing on the National Mall in Washington D.C., stop by this Instagram destination a few blocks away to see them larger than life on the 1,700 sqft of LED walls. As people pass by the screens, their movement causes the trees to blossom until eventually their petals fall off; when people pause in the lobby, they trigger butterflies to flutter.
