1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cooked and shredded
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 carrots, sliced
3 medium potatoes, cubed
1 cup frozen peas
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme or parsley (for garnish)

Sauté Aromatics: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (for a pop of color!)
- 1/2 cup diced smoked beef bacon (crispy and flavorful!)

2 Granny Smith apples
1 can (8 oz) crescent rolls

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup Sprite or 7UP
A pinch of ground nutmeg
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Peel and core the apples, then cut each apple into 4 wedges.
Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles and place an apple wedge on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up starting at the wide end, and pinch to seal. Place in a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing
¾ cup white sugar
2 ¼ tsp white vinegar
½ tsp celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside to cool.
Peel and chop the hard-boiled eggs and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Add the chopped celery, diced onion, sweet pickle relish, and chopped red bell pepper to the bowl.

1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp melted butter

Prepare Biscuit Mix:
Make the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix according to the package directions, then add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the mixture. Set aside.

Preheat Oven:

Make Crab Filling:

Directions:
How to make this old fashioned rice
pudding recipe
First step : Combine Minute Rice, milk & raisins, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla & nutmeg in a buttered 1 quart baking dish.
Second step : Bake in 350-degree oven for 1 h, stirring after 15 mins & again when pudding is done.
Third step : Sprinkle with cinnamon.
