I've lost a lot of weight this year, and focus on healthy, delicious choices. I'm building a better, stronger body and always searching for the perfect bite. I don't cook with a hat on, or an apron around my waist. I've been creating, testing and writing recipes my whole lifer and wrote a food column for two years. Menus are my specialty. Cooking is a creative outlet and watching people dig what's

on their plate is exciting. So, aside from my own recipes, I will share things I think are worth trying, or that I have tried. I take requests, so if you want to sort out a recipe, send me a message and I might feature it here. Good ideas come from everywhere so I will also be featuring friends with food talents. From time to time, guest posters will share their favorite dishes. I'm writing a cookbook, and playing in my test kitchen daily. I've lost 55 pounds in the last six months, which started with bariatric surgery. The recipes here are not specifically recommended for bariatric patients, as I cook for all kinds of people, but most are easily modified to work within those guidelines.
