At Indiewalls, we call ourselves catalysts of creativity.

In chemistry, a catalyst lowers the “activation energy” needed for a reaction to start. We do the same for your ideas.

More than an art consultancy, we help clients move past the “I’ll know it when I see it” phase to feel creatively energized and explore new angles for their projects.

A showstopping installation that spans 130 feet across the ceiling of 899 North Capitol in Washington D.C.

In a building with multiple government agencies, this public area artwork creates high impact in a high traffic area. Artist Grace Teng was inspired by the urban skyline at night and paired along with a canopy of string lights, this installation creates a sleek and dramatic moment.

Thanks to our partners at for collaborating on this project.

At The Bridge inside Barclays Center, four artists created four large-scale murals, each offering their own interpretation of Brooklyn’s iconic bridges, the Brooklyn Nets, and sponsor Modelo.

Each artist brings their unique artistic voice while still aligning with partners’ brand guidelines and the end result creates energy that echoes the buzz of a sports arena.

At , we talk a lot about being catalysts of creativity. Events like Behind the Canvas are an example of how we make that happen.

As an art consultancy, when we bring clients closer to the art and artists, it starts to shift how people think about creativity and the art curation process. We want the people we work with to leave feeling energized and maybe even look at their own projects a little differently.

For the most recent Behind the Canvas, we started at the Dallas Art Fair, then enjoyed a four-course dinner at Mirador, and closed it out with a hands-on workshop with Grace Teng where everyone left with a handmade textile piece they made themselves.

The art collection at The Douglass in Washington, D.C. is shaped by the concept of nature's timeless canopy. Drawing from the city's evolving landscapes, the collection spans from vivid abstractions to minimalist compositions.

Each tower of this multifamily property carries its own distinct identity while connecting back to the larger curatorial narrative. For example the Central Tower bursts with gestural linework and saturated color while the East Tower moves quietly through earthy, ethereal hues.

Each piece is carefully chosen to extend that story into the space itself. For example, .peters.studio 's 3D-printed ceramic modular work pays homage to the Banneker Bees or 's standing sculpture which traces the sweep of local bird murmurations.

Thanks to our partners and the team for trusting us with the collection for this beautiful multifamily development.

This past Friday, we hosted a Behind the Canvas evening in Dallas with a small group of clients. It's an event series we run to bring the people we work with every day a little closer to the art and the artists, making the whole art curation process feel a little more personal.

We started at the where guests had space to explore and fall into smaller conversations about what caught their eye. From there, we walked to for a four-course dinner. To close the night, Grace Teng led a hands-on workshop where everyone made their own art piece, a handmade textile piece to bring home.

By the end of the evening, guests left with something they made themselves, and you could feel how that lifted everyone’s mood even more. That's exactly the kind of creative experience we love to share.

Thank you to everyone who joined! If you'd like to be part of the next one, reach out.

For Trimont's Charlotte office, the team curated a collection that moves through local history, architecture, and the natural landscape.

The research and storytelling runs deep across all 50 works. Every piece in the collection carries a high level of intention and here's the story behind two of them.

used wrapped bobbins to create almost a pixel effect reinterpretting the state flower and map of North Carolina. The work connects directly to Charlotte's textile industry heritage, translating that industrial history into something both precise and quietly expressive. , a Charlotte-based painter and muralist, extended her canvas work directly onto the surrounding wall, letting the composition flow beyond its edges into the architecture of the space and create an immersive experience.

The final result includes custom commissions alongside licensed prints, framed in Indiewalls' Brooklyn facility, with dedicated spotlights on Charlotte-based artists to ground the collection in the city's own creative community.

Thanks to our partners at , .sky and Trimont for collaborating on this collection. Photos by and Indiewalls Team

2,600 meters closer to the stars ✨

The city of Bogotá, Colombia is 2,600 m above sea level, so there’s an iconic phrase locals use to describe the city: “2,600 meters closer to the stars.”

For .co Bogotá office, that idea became the foundation of a large-scale art installation.

In collaboration with Colombian artist Daniel Castillo, Indiewalls commissioned a suspended sculpture composed of 2,600 individual glass and recycled metal elements, each one catching and reflecting light like stars overhead.

The final installation not only transforms the experience of the space, it reinforces a uniquely local narrative and creates Colombian pride – all while bringing employees and guests 2,600 meters closer to the stars.

---
