Travel Tuesday ✈️ while there are many wonderful camps to visit in Africa, Cottar’s Camp in Tanzania is one of my very favorites. Each cottage unique, the design takes you to Out of Africa… white linen and organic textures with fine silver sprinkled about. It is so lovely. .safaris

A dated living room was renovated with a coffered ceiling, new baseboards, built-in bookcases, a new limestone fireplace surround and finished with a little chintz, neutral linens, fabulous antiques and a hint of animal print.

Trip Tuesday ✈️ we loved Cayao at the new Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol. Congrats Richard Sandoval- the fried chicken, bar tile and hot pink tabletops were all fab.

We took Schumacher’s floral chintz “Summer Hydrangea” and really rolled with it! Bolt after bolt. This room had very simple architecture that didn’t blend well with the client’s traditional taste so we added fabric to warm up the large vaulted bedroom. And when you use a single fabric everywhere? Well, it becomes a neutral.

Cabana Magazine shared this new image of Valentino’s bathroom. Though all his spaces were beautiful of course, and curated with his favorite collections- this is a bit different. Adorned with personal photographs… a heartwarming glimpse into an intimate room showing his daily view of what mattered most… the people that filled his life. 🕊️

Happiest entry ever! We created a marble chevron pattern on the floor and used a hand stamped basketweave grasscloth as the backdrop for a couple punches of color. The grasscloth x benches tuck under a lacquer parsons console table adorned with a mirror from Oomph.

The design world, and the world over, lost a great curator and style leader. His home outside Paris was collected, chic, filled with Chinese treasures and an estate he loved to retreat. Thank you Valentino and may you rest in peace.

Movie night! We installed this custom sectional, surrounded by a fitted wrap-around console table under a star lit sky. Thousands of tiny LED lights installed in pin holes that can twinkle, sparkle and dim with just a button. So fun!
