We chose our name, which means ‘made’ in Spanish, because we wholeheartedly believe that ideas need to be made, not just talked about. Founded in 2004, we have been responsible for the construction, development, and launch of over 110 bars and restaurants in New York City. We have developed a reputation for a bold and exceptional blend of design, function, and fabrication, producing spaces that ex

ude a singular style and offer something new with every visit. was founded by partners Phil Morgan and John Kole who met in Paris in 1998. Their appreciation for and dedication to preserving the quality, craft, and history of reclaimed material has won Hecho a reputation for a bold blend of design and fabrication. As the company grew, Jeff Kaufmann joined as a partner in 2011.
