Site visit to check out this completed mudroom/laundry room remodel. You’d never know it was dark and stormy outside when I visited - this space feels so warm and cheery. Even small spaces deserve attention to detail and this room is ALLLL about the details! It greets my clients in the most beautiful way as they enter their house from the garage. Wouldn’t you love to do laundry here?

Pinch me - I was with Jean Stoffer last night! (Just before she flies out to LA for the Emmys!) what a wonderful event at the Monogram Design Studio learning Jean’s tips and tricks for setting a beautiful holiday table. (It doesn’t have to be perfect or match … lean into nostalgia with vintage pieces and found treasures from travels and take advantage of faux greens … just to name a few!) Plus the talented chefs at Monogram served up the most delicious snacks using their amazing Five-in-One Wall Oven. I’m excited to set my table for Christmas Eve this year and I may just be using Jean’s idea of tying velvet ribbons to vintage coupe glasses. Oh and the dried orange garland! What are your favorite things to add to your Holiday table?

Travel always provides such inspiration for artists, writers, designers … and the Lake Como region of Italy is no exception. I couldn’t get enough of all the saturated colors, beautiful stone, arches, and colorful shutters. Each and every building is so unique and charming.
