Dorota Piwnik founded the Antique Tapestry Restoration in London in 1987 and relocated the company to New York in 1992. She heads a small dedicated team whose aim is to offer the highest standards in textile restoration and conservation. The studio is fully equipped to handle the restoration and conservation of all types of textiles, from minor repairs to complex re-creations of any missing areas.

Each project is approached individually, always keeping in mind the integrity and character of each piece. Antique Tapestry Restoration works with museums, galleries, churches, corporations and private individuals in the United States and internationally.
