Brew Sweet Tea ❤️ Ingredients: • Cold water • 1 Cane Brew tea bag Instructions: • Drop tea bag into a half gallon pitcher • Fill with cold water • Let steep 8–20 minutes (the longer it steeps, the sweeter it gets!) • Give it a good stir That’s it, y’all! Now y’all know I always keep sweet tea in the refrigerator. The grandkids come in wantin’ a glass every time, and usually my husband’s gotta boil water, squeeze the bags, add sugar, stir it all up, and then we’re waitin’ on it to cool down. But with this… in about 14 minutes I had the perfect sweetness for me. It don’t get much easier than that. I tried several flavors - strawberry, peach, decaf, sweet tea, and unsweet - and they’ve got even more to choose from. I’m such a big fan, and so far everybody in the family that’s tried it has absolutely loved it! I believe after all these years of usin’ the same tea brand… I might just be switchin’ to Cane Brew. This one’s got Mamaw Gail’s stamp of approval ❤️ Y’all go try you some Cane Brew!

How to Make Eggs Go Further 🥚

When groceries were tight and there were a lot of mouths to feed, this is how we stretched what we had growing up.

Ingredients
• 2 eggs
• 3 heaping teaspoons self-rising flour
• Water (just enough to thin)
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
• Grease or lard for frying

Instructions
1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat well with a fork.
2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3. Stir in 3 heaping teaspoons of self-rising flour and beat until smooth.
4. Slowly add a little water at a time, beating as you go, until the mixture is smooth and pourable - not too thick and not too runny.
5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a spoonful of grease or lard.
6. Pour in the egg mixture and let it cook just a little before stirring.
7. Gently scramble and cook until done..

With eggs being so expensive nowadays, try this, y’all. This is how my Mamaw, my mom, my aunt, and my uncles made eggs go further when there were a lot of kids at the table and not a lot in the fridge.

Simple, filling, and it works every time. 💛

Easy Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Candy 🥜

Ingredients:
• 2 cups sugar
• ½ cup milk
• Dash of salt
• ½ stick butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1½ cups peanut butter

Optional (for no-bake cookie version):
• 2 cups quick oats

Instructions:
1. In a pot, combine sugar, milk, and a dash of salt. Stir well.
2. Turn burner on high and bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
3. Once it reaches a full boil, reduce heat to medium and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Add butter, vanilla extract, and peanut butter.
6. Stir well until the mixture thickens.

To Set the Candy:
• Pan Method: Pour into an 8x8 or 9x9 pan and let harden before cutting.
• Spoon-Drop Method (My favorite): Let mixture thicken slightly more, then spoon dollops onto wax paper or aluminum foil. This makes more individual candy pieces.

Tips & Tricks:
• For Faster Thickening: Fill your sink with a little cold water and set the pot in it while stirring. This helps the candy firm up quicker.
• Spoon-dipping gives you more pieces than pouring into a pan.
• To turn this into peanut butter no-bake cookies, stir in 2 cups quick oats before spooning out.
