Last night, we toasted our 2026 Rising Stars honorees, as well as the jury who helped us find them. The night brought together a cross-section of the design world: residential and hospitality designers, furniture makers, lighting designers, landscape architects, textile artists, set designers, event designers, and more. We asked what the Rising Star title means to them, plus some other design takes. 🌟

After such a rough winter, spring is suddenly here in the Hudson Valley. Plants are waking up and it’s time to work on the garden. We kicked off the weekend with a visit to where and I ran into dear . .bellomo helped us put together a beautiful bed of cold hardy greens and pansies. gave us a tour of the grounds with . The new Orangerie is a must go to shop. The plants are so beautiful with interesting selections. After a visit to to look at the baby chicks and buy compost .huh planted the rest of the weekend and watched the wildlife spring back into action. What do you think of our bed of pansies and mustard greens? After all our hard work, we enjoyed a glass of wine at sunset to celebrate the longer days. Happy Easter to all!
