When Tribeca closed on Dominick St we knew we needed to have place were folks could still pick & return rentals, and also purchase any last minute sales needs and today The Studio RRD Sales counter is Officially Open! We are located at 41 Union Square West - Suite 1130 and are open from 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Come by for any last minute needs and as a place to pick up & drop off pre-arranged rentals. We are so glad to bring this resource back to to the NY arts community. Follow us for updates on Product demos and other events as well! ( and check out the newly available pre-vis suite in the Studio RRD offices !) We look forward to seeing & helping you soon.

Fun Fixture Friday! This week I had fun playing our brand new ETC Megapix Units!!

They pack a big punch in a small & surprisingly quiet package. At just over 20lbs, and with a small footprint the ETC Megapix is a moving wash fixture with a segmented Fresnel lens, RGBL colored LEDs, & an impressive 4.5° to 50° zoom which remains soft edged at all spreads. It is a great new tool for the toolbox! Check them out & reach out to us with questions or interest in renting..

Fun Fixture Friday !
We are enjoying getting to know fixtures in the Studio RRD inventory that are new to me. These Astera Quick Spot & Quick Punch units are terrific! Real Fresnel lenses, powerful output. Can be powered & controlled wirelessly (and with wires) Good Color output. The quick spot - small, with a 13° to 60° range - is perfect for small spaces with low grids! Tribeca Lighting is now a part of Studio RRD!!
Studio RRD Has purchased the Tribeca Lighting Inventory, and hired Eva Pinney to join the team there. We remain committed to supplying Local access for the NY community, and are happy offer pick up & drop off for small rentals at the Union Square Location of Studio RRD! A New Hope! While Tribeca Lighting has closed its doors at 145 6th Ave, we are Excited to be joining forces with a larger team! This will allow us to keep supplying the New York Theatre & Arts community locally with lighting rentals & sales as well as open the door for us to grow & adapt to the changing needs of our customers. Tribeca Lighting Ceasing Operations

Tribeca Lighting, which opened in June of 2008 to serve the NY Theatre Community, is closing. While we still deeply support all the community creates, we are no longer able to sustain our business model.

We thank Everyone for their years of support.

We are ceasing day to day operations as of August 29 2025.

We are no longer accepting any new rental requests.
We are actively looking to sell any remaining sales inventory, as well as sell any of our rental gear.
