One-Pot Wonder: Creamy Chicken Alfredo
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken broth
1 ½ cups heavy cream
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add chicken slices and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
Add fettuccine pasta to the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss to combine.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
