Please help me. I’m redoing my kitchen and I don’t know what to do with the bump out ledge on the right. The wall behind the ledge is load bearing so I cant get rid of it totally. If I shave it back I’ll have half my lower cabinets sticking out and if I lower it to counter height I feel like it would leave an awkward square of counter. Please help with any and all ideas. Thank you.

Hello everyone. 😊
I would love some decorating advice for my living room. It has 20-foot ceilings, and I feel like the space looks a bit empty and too white. My goal is for it to feel cozy, elegant, and timeless.
I already have a chandelier, so I’m not looking to add any more hanging fixtures. I do think I need additional lighting, but I’m not sure what type of lamp would work best or where it should go. Would you add a floor lamp? A table lamp? Where would you place it?
I also feel like the fireplace looks a little bare, and I’m not sure if the mirror is in the right position. I’ve even considered moving my olive tree to a different spot, but I can’t decide where it would look best.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions on lighting, furniture placement, fireplace styling, and coffee table decor. What would you change to make the room feel warmer, cozier, and more sophisticated?
