Crème is a Brooklyn-based creative design firm offering architectural, interior, graphic, and custom furniture design services.

Crème’s growing team of young designers and creative professionals works internationally on projects including private residences, hotels, restaurants and retail stores. Each piece is thrown, shaped, and glazed in Jun’s studio, then left to do simple work: hold tea, carry a meal, sit well in the hand. The same attention we bring to a room, brought to a single cup.

Little Banchan Shop, chef Hooni Kim (김훈이)’s shop in Queens.

A place for prepared banchan, soups, and stews, all to take home. We designed it as a casual, light-filled space, with an inviting glass storefront opening onto the street. Inside, plywood millwork sets off the colorful banchan packaging, a neon sign marks the chef’s counter, and geometric displays and spiral lighting hang overhead. And through a door at the back, a pastel hallway leads to Meju, the private tasting room hidden behind the shop.

Set on a former orchard in Sunnyvale, Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley stays close to the land it grows from.

We threaded citrus groves, gardens, and preserved oaks through the site, then carried that green indoors, from the glass arrival pavilion to corridors thick with foliage and a vintage Beetle brimming with plants.

Canadian denim, down to the last detail 👖

For the Naked & Famous flagship at 123 Grand Street, we brought the brand’s raw selvedge denim into the design itself. Rolls of fabric, stacks of folded jeans, and well-worn pairs become part of the walls, shelving, and displays, giving the store a layered feel that stays true to the brand.

The Front Porch at The Compton Hotel offers a welcoming place to gather in the heart of Bentonville.

We designed the covered outdoor space as an extension of the hotel and a relaxed setting for both guests and the local community. Brick walls, glass details, warm materials, and comfortable seating create an easy transition between indoors and out, with views toward Dave Peel Park and room to settle in over morning coffee or unwind at the end of the day.

A full tablescape dressed in our handmade ceramics. One collection, yet no two pieces are exactly alike. Each form reflects the art of clay: shaping, coloring, glazing, and the careful process of bringing every detail to life.

At Wayla, a subterranean Thai restaurant in New York City, CRÈME set out to bring the warmth and energy of Thai street dining into a more intimate setting.

Warm oak, exposed brick, deep turquoise upholstery, glossy teal tile, and graphic slatted screens give the dining room its richness and character, while candlelit booths and a softly illuminated bar create a welcoming atmosphere below the city streets.

Inside the guest rooms at 1 Hotel Tokyo, CRÈME created a restorative environment above the city.

For these rooms, we approached the design through material, texture, and light, with the goal of creating a sense of calm and connection to nature. Natural wood, woven surfaces, soft upholstery, and handcrafted details reflect 1 Hotels’ relationship with the natural world, while a restrained use of materials and focus on craft draw from Japanese design.

A house designed to hover lightly over the Hudson landscape.

Hudson House reveals an elevated structure resting on wooden columns, with expansive southwest-facing windows opening the home toward the backyard and drawing in generous natural light.

A metal-clad facade creates a more private presence from the street, while the garden connects the front and back of the site, shaping a retreat rooted in the surrounding landscape.

At Bar Sprezzatura, CRÈME drew on the warmth and character of the Italian Riviera to shape an intimate setting above Midtown Manhattan.

Deep orange upholstery, sculptural seating, painted murals, hanging greenery, and low lighting create a rich, layered atmosphere. The result is a bar that feels transportive and refined, while still retaining the ease at the heart of Italian hospitality.
