Ready for a quick, colorful dinner? This saucy chicken stir-fry with peppers & onions packs flavor and freshness in every bite! 🍽️🔥
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced green onions for garnish
Directions:
Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Toss in the chicken and stir-fry until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside. Using the same pan, add peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger; cook 3-4 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp. Return chicken to the pan, pour in soy & oyster sauces, mix well. Stir in cornstarch slurry, cook 2 more minutes until sauce thickens and glazes everything. Finish with sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Garnish with green onions if you like. Serve it hot over rice or noodles and enjoy a flavor-packed meal!
