In 1980, Arlie faced a tough decision: join a prestigious auction house, or take a chance on Lillian Nassau. Lillian was virtually unknown outside of the art world, but the New York Times had dubbed her the “doyenne” of Art Nouveau and Tiffany by 1979. She was a pioneer, always searching for new talent.
