Born in Boston and raised in Colorado, California and Massachusetts, Gerson received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Retail Marketing from Syracuse University. She then went on to receive her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Design from the world-renowned Parsons School of Design in New York City. te Designer to the acclaimed fashion designer Victor Alfaro, whose gowns were worn by everyone from Madonna to Gwyneth Paltrow. In addition to having a direct hand in the creation of Alfaro’s designs, Gerson also organized couture fashion shows in Milan and New York City. In 1998, at the urging of her high fashion friends, Gerson founded Michelle Gerson Interiors, Ltd. After nearly 12 years of business, Michelle Gerson Interiors, Ltd. has created spectacular interiors for a diverse group of clientele ranging from bankers to downtown DJ's, retirees to young families, surgeons to singers, and actors to athletes. Though her style has always remained high fashion, it has been good old-fashioned ìword-of-mouth that has continued to expand her business. With a cultivated style as eclectic and modern as her clientele and an extensive network of resources, Gerson has designed homes in New York City, The Hamptons, London, New Jersey, Westchester, Connecticut, Palm Beach, Nantucket, Chicago and Boston. Michelle Gerson resides in the trendy Chelsea neighborhood of New York City with her husband, son and their beloved boxer, Georgia.
