Just discovered Love Thy Neighbor, one of the newest additions to the West Village, which officially opened in May 2026.

The concept blends a café, cocktail bar, and Japanese-inspired dining experience, with a menu featuring creative small plates, elevated cocktails, and a sushi program coming soon. The space itself is stunning. It’s intimate and relatively small, but every detail feels intentional. Soft curves, textured plaster-like walls, organic shapes, and warm lighting create an atmosphere that feels both modern and inviting.

And can we talk about the bathroom? Honestly, it’s worth mentioning on its own. The sculptural organic sink paired with a faucet descending directly from the ceiling feels like something out of a design magazine.

A beautiful reminder that great design isn’t about size—it’s about how a space makes you feel.

This might be one of the best bedroom upgrades I’ve made lately.

What really goes on inside the mind of a serial killer?

I recently visited Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience in New York City, an immersive exhibition that takes you deep into some of the most notorious criminal cases in history through interactive storytelling, forensic evidence, psychological analysis, and multimedia exhibits.

Located at 526 6th Avenue (corner of W 14th Street), this experience explores how investigators profile criminals, how evidence is analyzed, and what drives some of the world’s most infamous serial killers. It’s fascinating, thought-provoking, and definitely not your typical museum experience.

One important thing to know before booking: the Virtual Reality experience is not included with the standard admission ticket. To access the VR portion, you’ll need a VIP ticket. VR upgrades may also be available on-site, but availability is limited.

If you’re looking for a unique activity in NYC and enjoy true crime, psychology, criminal investigations, or immersive experiences, this is definitely one to add to your list.
