A striking Ancient Roman bronze Medusa head applique, dating to the 1st–2nd century AD, beautifully cast in high relief with exceptional detail and covered in a rich green ancient patina.

In Roman art, Medusa was used as a powerful protective symbol, believed to ward off evil. Appliques like this were often mounted on armor, furniture, chariots, or decorative objects, making them both symbolic and decorative in the Roman world.

Over 1,800 years old, this finely cast piece still displays remarkable craftsmanship and presence.

A beautiful and rare example of ancient Greek craftsmanship, this Canosan terracotta horse dates to the 4th century B.C. and captures the dynamic spirit of Greek art.

This hollow terracotta sculpture shows the horse rearing in motion, a powerful symbol often associated with ritual offerings and funerary traditions in Magna Graecia. Traces of the original ancient paint remain, offering a glimpse into how vibrant these sculptures once appeared over 2,300 years ago.
