No, I haven’t always charged crazy prices for my Farmer’s Market items. Gluten-free and allergy-free ingredient costs were so high for me that I felt bad to make a profit on top of cost. I didn’t figure mistakes and unforeseen costs into the products- I just lost money every time those came up. But I also had years of experimentation and time not paid coming up gluten-free recipes and allergy-free substitutions and testing how to make truly allergy-free products. Once I did figure those costs and raised my prices, my cinnamon rolls sold for $10. Regularly. Top seller. Comment “Recipes” if you want to skip right to the point where you make your own “$10 cinnamon roll” at home. You can eat them or resell them at your own price.
