I am making some progress on "Missy", my next dog profile. I have had a lot going on in life that has kept me from spending the time I need to finish this. But, every little bit I do is one step closer to finishing it.

I was very sad to receive a phone call from a customer who dropped her artpiece I burned for her. The piece split in half right down the middle. She was heartbroken. Thankfully it was a very clean break. You have to look real close to see where the crack is. I will leave the clamps on it for at least 24 hours. Keeping my fingers crossed that it comes out ok. 🙏🙏🙏

This is my next project. This is Missy, and she is a Golden Retriever. This will be a real challenge. So much hair coloration and the white whiskers. But, if it was easy anybody could do it. 🙂 Looking forward to this one.

Santa is out doing his thing. HO HO HO !!!

A pilot has just captured this amazing photo of Santa and his reindeer heading towards the UK 🎅 proof that he does actually exist, but he only delivers to good children 🤷‍♂️ that's why you've never had presents from him 🤣

Here's my next project. I received this request at the last craft show. This is being burned on a 12" live edge piece of basswood. I was not expecting to finish this before Christmas but progress has been positive so maybe I can surprise her by Christmas Day.

Just finished this 9"x12" piece for a friend. The image is from a photo of his place back in the woods. It is one of the hardest pieces I've ever done.

I started it well over a year ago and had to stop because I thought I messed it up. Well, as time went by I learned more and felt I could save it if I went and saw his place with my own eyes. It was a 2 hour drive to get there but it was well worth it. I am so thankful for his patience and look forward to delivering it to him.
