40+ NHS students came to Lindley's Artisan & Crafter Emporium today and chose to put their artistic talents and interests into making leather and/or jewelry projects. As a retired NPS teacher, it was wonderful to see former students at my store enjoying their creativity. All were so very respectful towards the artists that helped them today. Newaygo Public Schools truly know how to encourage responsible and imaginative young adults. I would gladly offer my store and its art classes to NHS students again. Thank you Mrs. Grodus for organizing this day for such amazing students, and Mrs. Crabb for helping throughout the day! It was great to see Ms. Knight and Ms. Rodriquez enjoying the day as well.
