Sarto Retreat ladies
I’m sorry to tell you that I could only get 16 people to sign up for the retreat therefore I had to cancel.
I do have an alternative plan. We can meet at the former Mary’s Scrapden on Friday Feb 27 from 9:30 am -??? and Saturday Feb 28 from 9:30am till 7:30pm I will serve lunch and dinner both days. Gifts, games and soft drinks for $50.00 plus donuts from Our special donut place in Owensboro on Saturday if Donna Kuder can make it!!!
I have cashed most of the checks so I will be sending refund checks out tomorrow. Please let me know if you plan to come Friday or Saturday or both days by Sunday night so I can get the menu planned. If you would like overnight accommodations please text me so i can ckeck on a discounted rate at the comfort Inn just off Interstate 69.
I’m sorry but we will have fun at the “Scrapden” next Friday and Saturday!!

I wanted to update all of you on my health. First of all thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I just had a follow up visit with my oncologist at Vanderbilt and he is very please with the chemo treatments I had in November and January. I’m very thankful that I finally have some energy and have an interest in doing things . Again thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.

I have 13 reservations in and 2 too still come in. I need 10 more to have the crop by Tuesday. Please message or call me if you plan to attend. If it snows more than 2 inches or ice it will be cancelled and money refunded

It has been a week since I had my second TACE procedure. It was rougher than the first one! I was so sick I had to stay in the hospital on Monday night. Today was my first trip out of the house since I got home. I had a mammogram, a pelvic exam and my monthly shots from my local oncologist.
I am needing your prayers for the next 3 weeks for more testing I’m going to have as a result of today’s appointments. I need prayers for my appetite, the pain and the nausea I’m still experiencing. I just want to start feeling better sooner than later. Thanks in advance for your support.

The New Year’s crop starts at 10 AM tomorrow. I am planning on everyone that signed up to attend because that’s what I based the food off of even if you didn’t pay ahead of time like I had asked I’m planning on you coming unless you’ve called me or text me that you’re sick. I’ve already had five cancellations and I have already made more than enough food for everyone so please just because it’s cold or something don’t just stay home whereas I could’ve had somebody else come in your place or I could stay home for the day and enjoy it myself.

Mary’s Scrapden will host a New Year’s Day crop January 1, 2026 from 10 am till???? Cost will be $10.00 if you want a meal and crop or $5.00 if you want a space only. Please rsvp by Dec 28. Only 12 spots available. Reply with name and meal or name and space. Will accept PayPal or Venmo.

On our way home from Vanderbilt. Got a wonderful report!!! All the tumors that the doctor applied chemo to have shrunk!!
Hoping to get round 2 first week in January.
