Why replace butter in baking? Great question ⬇️

Health benefits, and flavor! Olive oil brings natural polyphenols and heart-healthy fats, while also adding a richer, more layered taste that butter alone can’t always deliver. And it works in anything you bake.

Our Vanilla and Chocolate olive oils are made for exactly this. 🍫🍦 They’re perfect for cookies, pancakes, or anything warm out of the oven. A splash of citrus or your favorite fruity oil can take things even further.

Our baking mixes make it easy to switch things up without overthinking it. Try our sourdough brownies, biscuits, pancakes and pizza dough. 🥖🍪🥞🍕

The swap is simple: just use 3/4 the amount of butter you normally would and replace it with olive oil.

The harvest date is the most important thing to check when purchasing Extra Virgin olive oil. Freshness is everything. Naturally with time, polyphenols decrease and that beautiful robust flavor can fade. To enjoy EVOO with the best taste and most health benefits it is best consume your oil as early and quickly as you can. Within the harvest year and 6 months of opening is ideal. ⁠

Most companies will provide a “best by” date but that really doesn't tell you much about the freshness of the oil. By tracking the harvest dates we are able to ensure our customers are ALWAYS getting the freshest EVOO! Check the bottoms of our EVOO bottles to see exactly when the olives for that bottle were harvested!⁠
