If you’ve stopped by lately, you’ve probably noticed things are looking a little… under construction 😅🛠️

First — THANK YOU for sticking with us through the dust, noise, weird parking situations, and all the “please excuse our appearance” moments. We know exterior construction isn’t always the prettiest, and we’re sorry in advance for all the improvements still to come outside the building. Promise it’ll be worth it 🤍

While the outside is still a work in progress, so many exciting changes already happened inside the shop — seeing it become what I had imagined has been pretty special. I hope you like it too.

Also, I’d like to officially introduce (although most of you probably already know them!) Dan and Sumner of MacCready Richards, Inc — the dynamic duo of contractors with the mostest. They’ve been helping turn this vision into reality and have poured so much hard work, creativity, and care into this project. Truly the best!

You’ll probably be seeing a lot of them (and plenty of other MacCready Richards friends & family) around the building this summer helping bring everything together — and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Thanks for being patient with us while we work to build something really special 🖤✨

In the pouring rain, our town still gathered to remember. The sound of the gun salute and Taps over the bridge was especially moving — a solemn reminder of the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country 🇺🇸

After a few months of packing and construction (and a few very busy weeks of unpacking and racing to get everything ready 💫), the shop is reopening this Wednesday 🤍

The new summer windows went up yesterday— Moby Dick! 🐋⚓️ My own interpretation anyway - inspired by one of my favorite vintage fabrics from Town & Country… I’ve been collecting it for nearly 20 years. Seeing it come alive to become part of the shop feels really special. I used mostly watercolor paints and a few paints and pens from my mom’s collection to make all of these pieces.

Still a few final touches left to go inside the shop (and probably a few weeks of working out the kinks😅), but I’m so excited to open the doors again and share how the shop has changed and evolved. I hope you love it as much as I do. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us through all the dust, construction, chaos, and long days behind the curtains🤍

I’m home.
Back from a short, soul-saving whirlwind—city lights in NYC, wide skies out west. A few stolen days that felt like breathing again.

Now I return with a full heart and dusty shoes… just in time for one last stretch.

The shop will be open this week only, through Saturday (Valentine’s Day), with softer hours—10ish to 4ish—before everything changes.

Because on February 15th, the doors close and the shop drifts into a deep, intentional sleep.
Behind the scenes, the walls will dream.
Hammers will hum like small, steady heartbeats.
The space will slowly, lovingly unravel and reshape itself into something new.

Come by before we tuck it in.
This is not goodbye—just a beautiful pause until reopening in Spring.

✨ A new shop window has appeared! ✨
Fairies 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️ have fluttered in and the stars 🌟 have aligned to whisper a little secret…

Around Valentine’s Day, the curtains will close and the shop will slip into a dreamy rest for a few months—while we sprinkle a little stardust and prepare its next enchanting chapter.

Until then, expect shorter days and the occasional pause as I gather my magic and rest up 🌙✨
