We're doing our FIRST black wedding dress alteration. I actually helped with a wedding years ago (cake/photog) where the bride wore black but this is the first time I've ever altered one! I'll post a pic once the wedding is over.

RETURN HOME WOW!!!! Talk about wedding dresses, bridesmaid, mother of bride/groom, suits, etc. We have been BUSY! And the end is not yet in site. Right now BOB has dresses scheduled through October…

Been especially busy. Still have a full slate of wedding dresses/MOB/BM lined up but finally delivered the 7 blazers (picked up 3 more) and the denim jackets for PINK629 (go see what they've got!!!) AND I finally got my industrial machine going, thanks to neighbor and High Quality Saddle maker Dan High! Now I can finish that one pesky project that's been hanging over my head!!! Lots to do. Just the way I like it!

Quick and easy shortening of formal dress for a wedding guest! Fitting at 2 done altering by 2:45. Will drop off in Spearfish tomorrow! BOB gets it done.

So excited. Got the nod from Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce director that I can do a fitting (for clothing alterations) at their office! I often do fittings at Elizabeth Anne's boutique when a bride is purchasing a dress, but when I have normal alterations needed (and I'M IN TOWN ALREADY) I can now do a fitting for you there! Kudos to this great gal, Michaela, and her willingness to assist ANY business person--even someone who lives in eastern Butte Co! Michela, you're the bomb!!! Contact me today. Working on some unusual items recently. One has me stumped so I'm reaching out to an upholstering friend. One is an oilskin "hoodie" that's very hard to wrangle and another needed the touch of an "expert" in wool. A Swedish national costume. BOB also finished a unique wedding dress fashioned from the bride's mother's 1950's prom formals, (I can now show the beautiful bride since her wedding was 3/26-please excuse the mess of my sewing room). You can see part of the Swedish costume hanging from the cupboard door. I'll share that later.

BUSY! Wrapping up prom formals, finished a guy's wedding suit--and wedding dresses! TWO more yesterday. So thankful for Wanda and Renita for their help! I'd never make it.

Now--on to finish an oilskin hoodie!
