Hi all! Welcome to page, my name is Amy. I've been doing upholstery, and slipcovers for 17 years. Over the years I've worked on many styles of couches and chairs ranging from the 1800s to midcentury modern to current day pieces. And I don't stop there, headboards, outdoor cushions and boat cushions are also my specialty. My goal is to make your vision come to life.
Below are a few pictures of some of my work!
The first five pictures are examples of my upholstery work. Which in short means out with the old and in with the new. Upholstery entails I remove all the old fabric, padding and if needed the springs and webbing. After that, I rebuild the inside with all new materials and then lastly cover with new fabric to create the finished product. I want your desired look to be achieved so I'll make sure we choose the appropriate fabric material and any fabric patterns are aligned for a nice clean finish.
Next, the flower chair is an example of a custom fit slipcover. This means the original piece stays in tact and a cover is made to create the desired look. A slipcover is a less expensive solution that gives an updated look to the piece.
Lastly is an example of a custom cover for an outdoor kitchen.
