An unexpected change became a new detail to love at our

After the water damage, the guest shower floor needed replacing, but the original tumbled EVR had been discontinued. Our solution: pair what remained with tumbled Carrara to create this checkerboard pattern.

A little creative problem-solving, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Back at our for install number two…

After last fall’s install, water damage over the winter meant a few unexpected repairs. Along the way, we took the opportunity to freshen up the exterior paint and work on the sunroof.

Finding the right blues for our

On our palette: Farrow & Ball Parma Gray, Light Blue, and Skylight, each bringing its own subtle shift in tone.

So far, we’ve selected Skylight No. 205 for the ceilings in the kitchen and dining room. The living room is still TBD, and we’re giving it time. Paint can look entirely different on raw wood versus primer, from one room to another, and as the natural light changes throughout the day. Sometimes the best way to choose is to slow down and watch.
