Friday Flair Five: on my radar right now from .

1. Any night that I could fall into a dark green bed with a curved headboard, well, that would be a good night. It’s the low profile, the gentle curve, the color, and the fabric for me.

2. Zero in on the wall sconce. Perfect for flanking a great piece of art, as shown here, or a mirror over an entry console.

3. This bench is bringing ski home or snuggle up at the ranch vibes.

4. A dark green hide rug. Green is a neutral. That’s my story. I’m sticking with it.

5. Fancy meets flair. Keep track of your phone, keys, and sunglasses. The marble is masculine, but the curves balance it out. It says chic, not bachelor pad.

Hollywood at Home on La Cienega in Los Angeles. I’m a super fan. I have been for 15+ years, and for all things by the founder - designer, Peter Dunham.

The store aesthetic matches my own. That happy mix of old with new, colorful, unexpected, and both timeless yet 100% current. Vintage objects with Peter’s collection of fabrics, and the fabrics of other designers he represents. I’m here for all of it. My go-to every single time I’m in LA for work.

Need to warm up a contemporary home?

Here’s your formula: Add a statement light fixture, vintage pieces, pops of color, antiques with patina and some whimsy here and there. And always, the fine art, and the fun art. Make your home memorable - that’s flair.

Your dining chairs don’t need to be bought as part of a set with the dining table.

Matched is expected. Mismatched has more flair. It feels collected and personal, like the room evolved over time instead of being purchased all at once.

Change the fabric, bring in different wood tones, metal finishes, textures, or shapes. The key is to make the mix feel intentional. You can easily do this by repeating one detail somewhere - a color, a finish, a shape, a texture...

That’s what keeps it from feeling random, because collected doesn’t mean chaotic. Collected means confident. That’s chair flair.

Home from Milan for a hot minute before flying to New York to cheer on Riley in his hardcore trail marathon, but with design biz things in the long-weekend mix.

Experienced one of my staff designers experiencing New York for the first time

Stayed at my coolest friend’s coolest apartment

Worked on our West Village renovation project

Test drove bathtubs still in a box

Dialed in on decorative ceiling medallions

Admired cool hotel architecture at

Had drinks and dinners at fave places like , and the BEST most special dinner at + sleepover with a treasured high school / lifelong friend ( were we too busy talking to take a single photo??!!? 😆)

I’ll rest when I’m dead. ⚡️😎✌🏼 And sleep on my flight home.

The launch of the for here in Milan this week was bananas. Bananas, I tell you. Not just what she’s designed - the palette, the profiles, the materials - but this total immersive exhibition, in and of itself.

Set in the 17th Century Baroque Palazzo Acerbi, typically closed to the public, the whole experience was awe inspiring and a sensory experience, just lovely, the juxtaposition of the Old Old with the New New. And her New New somehow felt like it belonged there the whole time. I could have moved right in.

The collection release is coming next September, online and in stores globally. And I, for one, can’t wait. Brava, Brava, Bravi, and !
