With the concrete freshly poured, our concrete finishers are using a power trowel, often called a “helicoptero,” to flatten, smooth, and compact the surface. This process helps create the clean, durable finish needed before the next phase of construction begins.

Once the concrete cures, framing will begin and this home will really start to take shape.

Another major milestone on this 5,000 sqft custom home in Huntington Beach!

The foundation concrete pour is officially underway, bringing us one step closer to seeing this home come to life. Building in Huntington Beach comes with unique considerations, including the need for a methane barrier beneath the foundation to help protect the home from naturally occurring gases in the soil.

With the concrete now poured, we’re moving into the framing phase, where the walls, rooms, and overall structure will finally begin to take shape. This is when a project starts to feel like a home, and we can’t wait to show you what comes next.
