Finally finished the Flora Jacket by Christel Seyfarth. Notice the striped lining for the front steeks. A fun knit. This kit comes from Denmark. Unfortunately, the designer does not sell her patterns individually, but the yarn is very nice.

Finally finished my Marie Wallin Tapestry Wrap. It was a complicated project with 4 steeks, but I learned a lot. I no longer dislike doing stranded knitting on the purl side. You are able to insert design elements. Both the sides of this sweater have inserts knitted flat and then inserted between steeks. The back of the sweater shows the insert right in the middle. A very fun project to knit.

Hope everyone had Happy Holidays. Mine have been quiet and busy creating and knitting as usual. I finished Willa https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/willa-13 and I finally finished Ballerina by Hanne Falkenberg https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ballerina-2
Sorry my photos aren't that good, but it is what it is. I have also knitted a few animal ornaments . It is really fun and creative outlet for me. I knitted lop ear bunnies, regular bunnies, bears and fox ornaments. It is fun to see how they turn out and how I am going to embellish them. My new project for the New Year has started and I am knitting Fair Isle Club 6 by Marie Wallin https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fairisle-club-6---tapestry-wrap I hope the New Year is a better one and that you are all staying healthy and happy. Until next time Happy New Year to all!

Hope all is well with everyone! During this time of social distancing I hope you all have been busy knitting. I know that it helps me keep my sanity. I have finished a few projects that have been lingering and I have felt profound relief that they are finally finished. The first one is called Soleil Nouveau done with gradient yarns. The second project is called Tecumseh done in Madelinetosh DK and the last is a cowl in fi*****ng weight yarn called Seeds to Flowers Cowl. I hope these projects keep you inspired while you are keeping safe!

I can't believe it has almost been a year since my last post. Retirement has been very busy for me. I have of course been knitting and just finished a few fun projects for my mini tree and soon to be big tree. I really enjoy doing miniature projects on very small needles. I have made mini birds for my small Christmas tree along with some woodland creatures. I also knitted a mini teddy bear with his own sweater. Very fun to knit. The house is a pin cushion and the tree sits atop a cork. I am currently knitting a cowl with beads and will post it as soon as I finish it.. Hope everyone is still knitting and enjoying creating beautiful projects. Never stop creating even if it is just a tiny project.

Having fun creating holiday items. I made the wooly pine tree and surrounded it with punch needle Santa Clauses and reindeer and a knitted mouse looking to climb the tree. I also finished a rug hooked angel that I started in the 1990's. Found it while packing. Hope everyone has Happy Holidays

Just finished Nine Maidens by Lucy Hague https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/nine-maidens. A very pretty pattern with some complex stitches, but very enjoyable to do. My yarn was almost the same color as the one done by Lucy. Her pictures are much better than mine. 😟
