From my other business, Fuzzy Butt Apiary

Up for sale: $320.00 each

New Long Langstroth hives. Each hive holds 31 deep frames, not included, and can be separated into 3 smaller hives. Inner cover can easily be made to take internal feeders. Pine, poplar, and cedar construction, legs are pressure treated lumber for years of protection from rot. Fully painted with outdoor paint for a finish that will last.

Local pick-up or meet up within an hour of Newport, TN.

Debit and credit accepted.

The 2 without detail paint were pictures taken prior to finish, but included because they show the cedar roofing.

Arbor update:

4 posts finished and ready to be out in the ground. The base piece is what the bench will sit on and will sink fairly deep into the ground. We have decided to make an Oil/Diesel stain for the finish. We're approximately 12 hours into this.

Progress, the first column for the arbor is turned. They are 8' long, two piece columns, cut out of a 6x6. Only 5 more to go. More photos in comments.

Not my normal kind of work, but another project in the books. The antique chair had a wicker seat that had begun to split. Now it has a dual cushion leather seat.

A first attempt. I lay the blame for this venture squarely on an old high school friend that made it look cool. Chris Briggs I'm looking at you. Not completely pleased with the results of the first one but had fun making it and buying new toys for the shop.

My daughter forbade me posting this on the off chance that they'd be seen before she gave them as gifts. She helped me make these for her NJROTC teachers.
