I know this isn’t my norm. But I have this set of Rose Hill Blue Ridge Southern Pottery I bought on a whim from a friend’s mom. I’m paring down some things and I’ve decided to sell it. I thought the easiest way to get it to a collector was through these little squares. These are the pieces I have; 1 large platter, 1 small platter, large round platter, two serving bowls, 7 dinner plates, 4 square desert plates, 8 canapé plates, 8 saucers, 6 cups and 8 fruit bowls. He’s a pretty good boy…Boone the Wonder Dog 💓 has perfected the breed. Not only beautiful but smart puppies. He’s 10 weeks and already knows sit, stay, down, come, leave it, kennel trained and housebroken. That’s a pretty good start. If you’re looking to add a new family member we highly recommend them. 🐶💙

Wamp wamp wamp 😒 Debbie downer post alert.

I know I got everyone’s hopes up with the opening of a booth at Charee’s. I’ve tried to get it together, get some things pulled together and get it put together but it’s just not worked out. So after much thought I’ve just decided not to open up. A lot of things have factored into this decision and it wasn’t one I made lightly. Sometimes you just gotta tuck and roll. And I’m sorry I put it out so early and got everyone all ginned up and excited only to let you down. But for now I’m going to stick with what I know, continue working for a few clients, keep hoarding all the good stuff and having a barn sale a couple of times a year. That’s what I have time for and can manage right now and not spread myself so thin that nobody gets any good from me. So again, I’m sorry but things just are what they are and I can’t add anything else to my plate right now and feel good about it. Love y’all 💙

I don’t know about you but as we kick off 2025 my mind is going 50 miles an hour! I’m excited to restart some old adventures and begin some new ones. How about you? I’m looking forward to bringing a lovely shopping experience to both new and old customers inside Charee’s Emporium.

So let’s get this party started! What are some things you’re specifically interested in? What aesthetic are you drawn to? Grandmillinial, European, Mid Century Modern, Primitives? What interests you when thinking of your own home?

I can and do work with all sorts of aesthetics but my sweet spot is traditional southern design and that’s what I’m best at. My hope is that I can help you bring things into your home that you won’t tire of, pieces that are not disposable pieces. Things that can become family heirlooms. I know people, even me at times, have become so consumed by a throw away society that the landfill is full of so much junk! Let’s work to change that mindset shall we? I’m not saying we don’t all need a change up every once in a while, heck that’s how I make a living but let’s stop chasing the HGTV design fad of the moment, which changes every 3 minutes, stop buying the cardboard furniture that falls apart in a year, invest in your home and you’ll create a home that stands the test of time, that you won’t get tired of in a year. Let me help you do that.

Coming in January Walker Interiors is stepping back into the retail arena with Harper House Antiques and Goods at Charee’s in Newport, Arkansas. My hope is to bring you all the best finds from some of my favorite places. I’ll be bringing you some fabulous goods from all price points as well as some wonderful design ideas to help you create that classic Harper House southern style in your own home. Get off that hobby lobby bandwagon ladies! Good design isn’t trendy and it never goes out of style, stop wasting your money on that cheap Chinese junk! I can’t wait to get started 🍾
